HIRE CHARGES REVISED MARCH 2023
 

ALL SESSIONS ARE BOOKED FOR A MINIMUM OF ONE HOUR 10am - 10pm
 

Snooker Hall   - £12.50 per hour or part of an hour (£14.25 after 10 pm)
 

Main Hall    -  £15.00 per hour or part of an hour (£20.00 after 10pm)
 

Meeting room or kitchen   -  £7.50 per hour or part of an hour (£9.50 after 10pm)
 

Main Hall and kitchen   - £20.00 per hour or part of an hour (£22.25 after 10pm)
 

The main hall and snooker room hold maximum of 80 seated or 120 standing

 

Please note -  The use of the main hall includes the use of the stage, lighting and PA system.

All bookings must be made two weeks in advance, either via the Booking Secretary, or by downloading the official booking form- see above.  
Cheques should be made payable to Beaufort Hill Welfare Community Hall Group. 
Cancellation - A minimum of 14 days notice must be given when cancelling, or the full fee must be paid. 
Block bookings, or ongoing bookings will be invoiced at the end of every month.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Hall is run by volunteers and as such we would respectfully request that when the Hall is hired for private functions :-

1) All non-reyclable refuse is removed from the premises

2) Furniture and equipment is returned to its original position in readiness for the next booking

3) Where crockery, glasses or cutlery is used, please make sure it is washed and returned to the appropriate cupboard or drawer.

4) Please ensure the Hall is vacated by the arranged time to ensure that the volunteers who run the Hall have time to close or prepare for the next booking.

The Hall operates a NO SMOKING policy. It is the responsibility of the hirer to inform those attending their event of the policy.

The numbers of persons allowed entry to the Hall in connection with a booking must comply with the maximum occupancy numbers of  :- 80 seated or 120 standing. 
Hirers must not use any accommodation except that actually hired, other than communal areas and must not place any advertisements or notices on walls, unless given prior permission.

The Management Group reserves the right to withdraw the use of a facility at any time. The hiring fee will be refunded but no liability will be accepted for any other expenditure incurred by the hirer.

No group using the centre may grant broadcast (sound or television) or filming rights without prior consent of the Management Group. If such consent is given they reserve the right to take part in any negotiations, to be party to the terms and conditions of any agreements reached and to share in any income and publicity derived there from.

All bookings are now accepted on the understanding that any regulations made for the safety or convenience of those using the facilities will be observed. All clubs booking any facility must comply with all child protection regulations, prior to booking facilities, if your activities include any children.

The Hirers shall indemnify Beaufort Hill Welfare Community Hall against all losses and claims for injuries or damage to any person or property whatsoever which may arise out of or in consequence of the use of the premises by them and against all claims, demands, proceedings, damages, costs, charges and expenses.

The Hirer shall pay the stated charges for use and a non-refundable deposit is payable on booking.
Fourteen  days notice must be given when cancelling facilities relating to daily or block bookings otherwise full fee must be paid.

Fourteen days  notice is required of any cancellation by the hirer of an event; otherwise the full fee must be paid.

The right of entry to the hired premises is reserved to the Management Group, Police Officers and such Officers as duly authorised on their behalf.

Due to the food hygiene legislations we are currently unable to prepare food on our premises.

The Hirers are asked to exercise consideration for nearby residents when entering and leaving the facility and vacate premises promptly after the event takes place.
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO ANY OF THE ABOVE WILL MEAN THAT THE HALL WILL NOT BE LET IN FUTURE TO THE PERSON(S) IN DEFAULT

Following recent events at ‘The Hall’ , the Directors have made the decision that anyone making a private booking will be asked to pay a £30 refundable deposit on top of the hire fee.

It will be returned if all the terms of hire are met and the venue is returned to the high standard of cleanliness as when they arrive and all recycling and refuse is removed.

Also, please be mindful that to sell, purchase on behalf of, or provide alcohol to anyone under 18 is illegal and will not be tolerated on our premises.
